Alina Siegfried is an emerging poet and musician originally from Rotorua. She has recently returned to New Zealand after four years living abroad in Canada and Switzerland. With a coast-to-coast Canadian road trip under her belt, Alina has gained inspiration from the people, landscapes and cultures encountered on her travels, focusing on environmental, social justice and queer issues. Alina spent the last three years in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, where she was active in the blossoming spoken word community. Having recently moved to Wellington, Alina is looking forward to getting involved in artistic and poetic pursuits in the windy city.
