I have a BFA from Whitecliffe College of Art and Design and an MFA from Elam School of Fine Art at Auckland University. I am based at Parkyn Library where I work as both library assistant and part time tutor at Whitecliffe College of Arts & Design, with under graduate and postgraduate students. I am an avid reader and a committed contemporary figurative painter with an interest in the ethos of women.

Artist Statement:
I am interested in semiotics and in the chameleon nature of meaning. I collect images from anywhere and everywhere to use as the inspiration to explore, create and change situations or scenarios to reflect on the intricacies of lesbian culture. My canvases are a starting point for discussion, any narratives the viewers' own.
