Sarah Jewitt

My name is Sarah Jewitt. I am 53 years old and live in Tangimoana, Manawatu.

I work mainly in mixed media. The upside, my materials are either "found", "acquired" or donated from other peoples discards. I have friends and workmates trained not to toss it until I've sighted it! The downside is, that I have friends and workmates trained not to toss it until I've sighted it! The result of their largesse has overtaken my "playroom", engulfed my spare bedroom and taken up the best part of a large garage.

But the excitement, that comes when I get an idea, climb into the middle of it, have a spin, and come up with all the ingredients for another 'masterpiece'!
