My work is mainly sculptural, particularly in stone and clay though I worked in many other media including paint and photography. My creations tend to come back to themes of conservation, wildlife and environment even if they do start out on other paths of thought.
I am not self taught; instead I am privileged enough to have many talented women and men share their passion for art and their skills and technical expertise and other wisdom with me. This sharing has enabled me to develop my own style which is constantly evolving.
Now resident in Wellington I have exhibited in group exhibitions and worked on several commissions in Whangarei, Auckland and overseas, most recently in South Africa. Art does not pay the bills but it does occupy many hours of my life.
